This week on the show Maine, Emil, and Josh talk about some BJJ News, and some fire matches from yesteryear.

Kicking off the show with this weeks limited news we talk about some quarantine related issues that the hosts of the Grappling Rewind are encountering.  Amongst some other world BJJ news or lack there of.

We briefly talk about this weekends slower paced match at ONE FC between Shinya Aoki and Tomoshige Sera that resulted in a draw.

In the retrospective section we in true to the name Rewind some old great matches from Rickson Gracie Budo challenge, between living legends some of which are still competing to this day.

We kick the show off with a breakdown of  Rolles Gracie vs Rafael Lovato Jr, talking about the great high guard work from the competitors, and slick omaplata transitions in the match.  We also talk about the interesting scoring of the 2005 event Budo challenge.

In the next match from the same event we look at Xande Ribeiro vs Robert Drysdale in an astonishing performance by Riberio that ended in a great transition to armbar.

After that we get into Roberto Cyborg Abreu in his first year at black belt vs Braulio Estima.  This match is less than 2:30 end to end.  We talk about Cyborgs technique and his amazing ability to hit the tornado guard sweep.  On Estima, followed by ending immediately into the armbar and securing the tap.  One to re-watch for sure.

In the final match of the show Josh goes full story time in a history lesson for all recapping the feud between Carlson Gracie and the other Gracies and the stylistic matchup between Ismail Wallid and Royce Gracie that ended in a legendary clock choke and a classic BJJ match before the turn of the millennium.
