What hope do we have that we as believers can change-- That the sinful desires we have will not control us-- Examining our lives in light of Paul's list of virtues, can cause us to wonder if we can in fact gain victory over our sinful fleshly desires. Today Paul is helping us see that God is not fighting a losing battle within us. There are important truths that give us hope in the middle of the war. We belong to Christ.
