Dr. Philip M. Brown, Jr., MD, also known as Doc Philip Brown, is an accomplished physician, author, public speaker, and healthcare leader with a reputation for asking questions that help people think differently. 

 

Dr. Brown is the UNC-Wilmington Distinguished Alumnus of the Year 2021 and a member of Marshall Goldsmith 100 Coaches. He is also an accomplished public speaker and co-hosts the Podcast Unlikely Intersections. Additionally, he is an Amazon Best-Selling Author of "Do You Speak Patient" under his pen name Doc Philip Brown.

 

As a physician, Dr. Brown believes that patient care must be founded on trust, empathy, and listening.
