The time has arrived for Isreal to finally cross the Jordan River into the Promised land BUT remember that God told Moses and Aaron that they wouldn’t be allowed to enter.

Unlike his predecessor, Joshua does not shrink away from this honor. This could be a sign of total trust in the Lord or a sign that he is foolishly optimistic - leading this nation was not an easy job!
