The True Essence of Love

We talk about love, we write about love, we sing about love, we declare that we are in love, but are those the real essence of love? The truth is -  love is something ALL of us are - already are! All of us are the image of what love is. When we disconnect from this, we sense a ‘loss’ which then propels us in our quest to find the love we think we have ‘lost’.

Love is really powerful and as people who are created into the image of a loving God, we can be awesome beings.  You, me, they, we all are the true essence of love. When we try to understand the nature of love, we start from the very essence of creation. This whole world exists because of love.
