Alien Sex Fiend are an iconic band of both the
Deathrock and Batcave scene with a dedicated following. Thus, we felt it
was important for us to open a discussion about this band. This week we
discuss their emergence from the the Batcave and the release of their
first four albums as well as their relevance to Goth and Deathrock
subculture.
Update by Dr.Sanders 2021: This definitely isn't one of my favorite episodes of the podcast as I feel we didn't give the band an unbiased look. or even gauge the music fairly based on the artists' intent. It was a weird time in my life when this was recorded and maybe in the future I'll give the albums another look.
