Nowadays, networking is a very popular term - there are lots of online professional networking platforms such as LinkedIn and other (personal) social media like Facebook and Instagram.
However - if you are networking for a job, it's a little different from general community networking in terms of approach. LinkedIn is one such networking site for careers and businesses.
Today I want to remind everyone - you need to ask yourself... when you are on LinkedIn, are you networking to get better jobs and career opportunities, or, you are networking to establish yourself as an influencer?
These 2 sound very similar but they are actually quite different - whichever one that you choose, it is going to be a different strategy in terms of the people you connect with, the topics that you share (if you choose to share content) and how you choose to update your profile.
