We continue discovering how we can maintain a heart that doesn't drift into lukewarmness as we travel through the Beatitudes.

Today we look at Matt. 5:8 where Jesus proclaims that blessed are those who are pure in heart for they shall see God. James tells us that this is pure and undefiled religion, that we remain unstained by the world.

The world produces complacency when allowed to defile the gospel message and the faith we are called to walk in. Out of our hearts come the foundations and essence of everything we are and live by.
