The Kingdom Explained

Luke 14:7-35 - Speaker: Lukus Counterman - In our text this weekend, Jesus continues his explanation of the Kingdom. Luke relays another dinner party discussion where our Lord teaches about humility and generosity. It’s a rather tense conversation because those who think they’re on the inside, discover they’re on the outside. Kingdom citizenship is more than religiosity and vain piety. Jesus calls true followers to a life of radical discipleship – the sort of following that willingly leaves everyone and everything else behind. Jesus invites people to join his Kingdom. So, will you accept his invitation and follow him with all that you have and all that you are? May the Lord help each one of us.
