Nadia Stewart | Knowing God For Yourself

Nadia Stewart’s love for news has taken her from coast to coast. These days, you’ll find her both in front of the camera and behind for Global BC, where she works as a video journalist. When starting her journalism career, she wanted to somehow connect her faith to her profession. Soon becoming aware of the challenges ahead, Nadia decided to raise the industry’s standard to new levels. When it comes to being a leader, she wondered, “What if it was about building people up so that they can reach their highest potential?"

Her ambition would eventually to her earning a master's degree in leadership from Trinity Western University. Nadia's media career has included contributions to a variety of outlets across Canada, including Rogers, CBC, CTV, and The Weather Network. She is also the Executive Director of the Canadian Association of Black Journalists. Today, we're diving into how and why she got started in journalism, how her journey with Christ took shape, and the greatest advice she would give to the young adult crowd.
