“I just realized how similar our mission is with what you are doing right here,” Leake explains when comparing Chasin’ the Sun and Good News Bay. “I know that the two have a lot of things in common, but the mission behind our show is to show people Bay County and Panama City Beach in a good light. You watch the news, there is a lot of other stuff on there that is not great, not happy, not exciting, and you may think it’s not the coolest place in the world to live but that’s wrong because, let’s face it, we’ve got it going on.” In this episode, Steve sits down with the host of the Chasin’ the Sun television series, Justin Leake. They discuss the tight sense of community among Bay County’s bait and tackle shops, the minute details of fishing that make the sport interesting, and often a problem-solving experience; as well as what is biting in the Bay and the Gulf during this time of year.
