Brian started by predicting a "short" episode, dooming it to become the longest one in podcast history. Blame too many calls to the bullpen.

But it was worth it because Brian reminisced back to earlier this week when he got to ask Keith Hernandez two questions and listened to him talk about "leadership." Roger and Brian also talked about the future of Matt Harvey, if David Wright was dragging Noah Syndergaard as politely as possible, and if Zack Wheeler's promising spring training debut means the Mets will do better in 2017 than Brian originally predicted.

Then Roger talked with Greg Prince (Faith and Fear in Flushing), whose new book "Piazza: Catcher, Slugger, Icon, Star" was just released. Among other things, the two discussed Mike Piazza and his reaction when the Mets traded for him, the Hall-of-Famer's most underrated moments, the Mets teams from 1998-2001, KC and the Sunshine Band, why his nom de plume is different than his nom de blog, what he originally wanted to title the book, and the time Keith Hernandez blamed the Baha Men for the Mets losing the 2000 World Series.

After that, Brian remembered more stories from the Keith luncheon, the Good Fundies guys figured out who would be in charge of what on a Thor-deGrom-Matz road trip, and recalled how awful the Mets lineup was a mere 21 months ago when Matz made his debut.
