Gold Ribbon Conversations - The podcast that supports those fighting Childhood Cancer.

In this episode we catch up with a truly inspiring guest from Season 1, Nikki Bradley.

listen back to ep1

Nikki fought cancer as a young adult 20 years ago and has shared how treatment has had a lasting impact on her physical and mental health.

While it has given her a powerful mindset it was caused her chronic pain.

Nikki’s resilience to secure her future led her to making the decision to have a rotationplasty earlier this year.

This is a massive surgery, an amputation and limb rotation where her knee joint is now her hip joint and her heel will anchor a prosthetic leg.

A reminder of the impact that childhood cancer can have.

A reminder of how this fight forms the adult.

A reminder of why we must continue to learn how to support, treat and listen.
