Hello Everybody! On today's episode we had on Special Guest Monte Mansfield! Monte is a former professional Baseball player with the Houston Astros' Organization, as well as a professional player in Canadian baseball leagues. Monte went from being drafted out of High School and declining to winning the National Championship in his 1 year of college and receiving a $120,000 contract after being drafted the next year into someone who was struggling to throw strikes which lead into his trying Adderall for the first time. That lead into a spiraling out of control into shooting up meth and heroin and committing crimes in order to fund his habits. Then one fateful day, he dropped to his knees and prayed. From that moment on, our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ has taken the wheel and lead him out of the wilderness and firmly into His loving, redeeming arms. He now works in a rehab facility and is helping guide those around him by using his testimony to speak to the hearts of others.

In today's episode we get into his story of falling from grace and back into redemption. Monte & Immanuel have so much in common in their stories that it is only God that could've placed them both in the positions they are now in. They open up about their deepest wounds and show that being vocal about your short comings takes the power away from that shame, guilt & fear that we once held. It now empowers us to speak our Truth, which is what NA & AA can really do for people. That is the reason this podcast was started, just to give a voice to those who are struggling and showing them that there is a way out.
