The Fates of Ryn, Bonus Ep 7 - Three Versions: A Dungeons & Dragons Experiment

Bonus episodes of Goats & Dragons are meant to be enjoyed by anyone and everyone, with no familiarity with the ongoing storyline required! That being said, if you are following along with the Fates of Ryn story, be sure to listen to this episode between Season 2 Ep 31 and Season 2 Ep 32! 

In this bonus episode, Andy DMs three one-on-one sessions with three different players. The catch? All of the sessions represent the same legendary moment in time: three improvised versions of a single myth, recalled by a character at a pivotal moment in our long-running D&D campaign. Our three guest players--KT (Pork Fried Dice, Big Gay Orcs, The 'Burbs 2019), Elyse (The Gatbuton Incident, Big Gay Orcs, Dead Channel, The 'Burbs 2019), and Rachel (Dead Channel)--each play the same character, in the same situation, with the same overarching objective -- all in the world of The Fates of Ryn! How do these three players pursue the same legendary goal in different ways? How does Andy change up his storytelling and DMing style based on different players' approaches--and different rolls of the dice? And how can collaborative improvised storytelling outside of a D&D campaign actually intersect with that campaign's narrative--and maybe even affect it? Listen to find out!
