It was the early 2000’s and Richard Petit had a problem. What do you do when you’re a francophone singer/songwriter and the music industry just isn’t paying the bills? Well, you could go work at St-Hubert BBQ, or you could mount one of the most highly praised Pink Floyd shows in the world. I think anyone who has had the opportunity to see The Wall Live Extravaganza is glad that Richard isn’t seating them before a meal of rotisserie chicken.
The creator of that amazing show has mounted another tribute to the seminal British rock band and it’s playing one night only here in Montreal. Space: The Best of Pink Floyd “version symphonique”. If you were lucky enough to have seen a previous rendition of this show, this time around its accompanied by 37 symphonic musicians.
Richard talks about the show, his love of Pink Floyd, and more! Enjoy the show!
Space: The Best of Pink Floyd Show Version Symphonique is one night on at Place Des Arts, December 8th. More info here.
