In celebration of the NDG Comedy Fest that is going on right now we are turning the clocks back to when Derek Seguin had just SiriusXM Top Comic back in 2015.

Why? Well Derek Seguin will be closing out the festivities this weekend at The Wheel Club this Sunday, May 2st (get your tickets now). It’s crazy that we recorded this nearly 8 years ago. This city has been through quite a bit and I’m honestly super stoked for Walter to be putting this all together to celebrate English comedy in my old stomping ground of NDG.

This episode is quite a crazy time capsule. Derek spends some time in this episode talking about Mike Ward’s legal battles with Petit Jérémy – a legal case that took another 6 years or so to sort itself out (if it actually has).

As I mention in the lead-in to this episode, we’ve had a huge chunk of the performers of the NDG Comedy Fest on our little podcast over here. Off the top of my head we’ve had Derek Seguin, Joey Elias, Abby Stonehouse, Troy Stark, Mike Carrozza, Vance Michel, Serag Meletian, Daniel Carin, Elspeth Wright and probably a few more … not to mention our co-hosts Chris Venditto of Walter J. Lyng or the wonderfully talented and filthy provider of our theme song Leighland Beckman.

Anyhow, sit back and enjoy this trip down memory lane and then immediately buy yourself some tickets for the NDG COMEDY FEST.

Credit Where Credit is Due

As always, a big thank you to the providers of our theme song: Leighland Beckman and Aural Turpitude!
