But it’s really important and best to prepare for when you get sued, rather then be caught off-guard. You don’t want to end up in court. There are two major downfalls of going to court:

It becomes very, very expensive. It becomes public.

There are ways you can settle a dispute prior to going to court. You can capture these in your contracts way before you actually get sued.
