Jeremy Gabrisch and his wife Christina had always dreamed of living abroad. He was an ER Physician in Austin TX when he and his wife visited Ethiopia to pick up their newly adopted son. They returned home to Austin, sold everything they owned and jumped back on another flight to move there permanently. After 3 ½ years of living abroad, they’ve moved back to Austin to disrupt the home health care market and reinvent the Doctor’s house call with their healthcare and technology startup, Remedy Urgent Care.
We landed in Ethopia on their Christmas Day. There was no one on the streets, everything was closed and our new home was locked up.
