What foods and movement will serve you best?

What practises will help to nurture your body during the different seasons of your menstrual cycle?

Being a type A personality, I have a history of pushing through with work tasks and also the way I exercised, no matter what time of my cycle I was in. Over the past 15 years, a huge focus of mine has been eating healthy foods, but what I didn't understand until I delved into Ayuvedic and traditional Chinese Medicine readings was that I was ignoring the types of (healthy) foods that would truely nourish my body according to my monthly cycle. I was intrigued!

My latest podcast chat with Dr Bree is one to tune into as she'll explain the different seasons of a woman's cycle and how you can honour your body physically, emotionally and spiritually during these times.

Dr Bree is a Mumma to her little boy Ziggy and Doctor Of Traditional Chinese Medicine and has a strong interest in women's health, treating different hormonal conditions, fertility, pregnancy, post partum care and menopause. Bree studied in Adelaide at the Endeavour College of Natural Health and completed a small internship at the Guangzhou Hospital in China.

In this episode we explore:

> Bree's fav natural cycle tracking method for contraception & conception.

How to nurture and nourish your body through the different seasons of your menstrual cycle & how this differs to pregnancy and breastfeeding (with no cycle).

> How to prepare a smoothie if you desire one in winter & during your menstrual cycle.

> How acupuncture can support fertility, pregnancy and post partum health.

> An alternative option to induction if you are over your 'due date'.

> Traditional Chinese Medicine therapies to support the healing of a new Mum.
