LA based Michael Duthie is an accomplished Editor with many decades of credits to his name. In a recent conversation with Zef Cota, he spoke to us about working with directors such as Roland Emmerich, Kevin Costner, Vic Armstrong and Rod Lurie, and the many projects he has overseen as Editor over the years, including SAHARA, UNIVERSAL SOLDIER, STARGATE, OPEN RANGE, LONDON HAS FALLEN, THE OUTPOST and most recently THE HITMAN’S WIFE’S BODYGUARD, a production from Millennium Media, which Lionsgate will release in June. He also shared some observations about the art of editing in general, including how he organizes his editorial departments, on each feature he works on.
