Mickey Beyer-Clausen is the Co-Founder and CEO of Timeshifter, a new jet lag app that’s getting a lot of buzz.
If you’ve ever travelled internationally, or even just across a few timezones, you’ve probably experienced jet lag... and you’ve probably been given advice for how to avoid it. But chances are, you’re being sold a false bill of goods.
Because, like diets, there is no one-size-fits-all jet lag solution. Each person and trip is different, which is why Timeshifter takes your sleep pattern, chronotype, itinerary, and a range of personal preferences into account. A lot of those attending the Global Wellness Summit were using it and it really makes a huge difference — and it’s fun!
So, in this episode, Mickey busts some of the common jet lag myths and explains some of the neuroscience behind the app, plus a hot tip on how you can go out and party on Friday night without screwing over your whole sleep schedule.
