In this episode of Glitch In The Code, I sit down with the author of 'BBC: Brainwashing Britain' to discuss this fascinating book which I believe should be an essential to anyone who is studying any media related courses at University or College. The Mainstream Media is not the creative haven that is promised to all under graduates, so how far will you go to make your name in and earn those big pay days in the Mainstream Media?!

There are many talented and lovely people working at the BBC world wide, but what has become of Auntie?! The BBC is obliged to not have a political opinion due the their license fee funding via the Royal Charter, to do so they would have to find another way of funding their content. David explains why he believes the BBC continuously and even blatantly break this rule, and our in fact pushing their own political elite agenda and Brainwashing Britain. Are we paying for our own Brainwashing?

We discuss the BBC Propaganda machine, it's functioning as what David describes as a "Soft Cult" and how you are obliged to enter into 'Group Think' just like George Orwell spoke about in 1984.

ABOUT DAVID

I'm a writer and bon viveur based near Malaga and, when the mood takes, back home in Liverpool. I write about a wide range of topics from F1 and TV through to Politics and Travel. My pen name is the result of a little bit of Bowie and a little bit of Edie. Just how cool is that?

I studied Linguistics at university gaining a first followed by a distinction in my Master's degree.  People reckon I'm 'brainy' but when they get to me know me properly, they soon change their minds.

In my spare time I enjoy vintage TV - especially from the 1970/80s, Theatre, The Teardrop Explodes, Spanish/Croatian language and culture, F1, Camping, Cycling and the great British outdoors.

I currently work as a freelancer and I'm also writing a history of Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost's F1 rivalry and trying to write the next chapter of my novel 'No Birds Sing,' a dark, psychological thriller set in Rome. Phew!!
