Julia Roberts fakes her death and hides in Iowa to escape a psychopathic mustache and the man attached to it.

You can all blame Amanda for this one - a 90s marital thriller centered around Julia Roberts hot off the success of Pretty Woman. A movie so incompetent, they managed to cast a new love interest that is somehow just as creepy as the violent husband that is hunting her. We're joined by friend-of-the-pod Amanda Kusek and also newcomer MB Welch (our self-appointed JRob expert) to chat about 1991's Sleeping With the Enemy. We chat about the stale dialogue, the intense first-act "slap energy", the over-indulgent and overly useless state fair scene and of course all those qualities we come to except from the one-and-only Julia Roberts (mostly the hair).

As always, you can find Amanda at cheapcourage.com.
