Plan for the Future with Keisha Greaves

Keisha Greaves was diagnosed with Limb-Girdle Muscular Dystrophy at just 24 years old, a condition that causes muscles to deteriorate. She first started noticing her body was responding abnormally when she was in graduate school. Keisha would repeatedly fall from her legs giving out or find herself unable to lift objects in the kitchen. After numerous tests, her chronic illness was identified. Keisha felt uncertain about the future, but she relied on her family and therapy and learned to see the beauty in taking each day as it comes.
