The term game "reviews" has tricked us into thinking that all the possible unique gaming moments a person could have can fit neatly into a score out of 5 or 10. Game reviews sometimes have a negative impact on our ability to gauge whether a game is a winner or loser. Gaming is about experiences, that is the focus.
This episode's cheat sheet at a glance:
1)look for reviews from people interested in the same games you are more often than not.
2)keep an eye and ear out to whether they got a free copy of the game in question.
3)If possible, get a demo.
