We discuss how her niece inspired her amazing journey. How her books and movie, and community work is keeping her niece name alive. Tragically her niece, committed suicide at the age of 9 due to racial bullying. How her death led her to starting The McKenzie Foundation. We discuss,how so many kids and teens are affected by bullying. We talk about her work as a bullying advocate. We also discussed, her process of turning her book into a film.
