The SEC is historically labeled as one of the most prominent conferences in college football. The East and West divisions of the SEC have proven to be more even and fairly matched than the East and West divisions of the B1G. With super-conferences aligning, it appears that the B1G and the SEC will monopolize the CFB landscape, and in doing so will eliminate the need for East and West divisions at all. This could be the final season where we have two divisions in a conference. The world of college football is changing day by day, and we must do our part to keep up.
