Meet Kate Cherrell, a British enthusiast of cemeteries, death history, miserable victorians, and the paranormal. Kate Cherrell is a writer and academic specialising in historic cemeteries, British mourning culture, 19th century Spiritualism and paranormal history and investigation. She has recently completed a PhD in Spiritualism in the Gothic at the University of Lincoln and is a regular contributor to paranormal and esoteric publications, including Haunted Magazine and she is the creator of Burials and Beyond. She has also recently completed filming for a television series scheduled for broadcast in Autumn 2022 This week we dig in to Victorian graveyard history, the history of mediumship and get to hear some of Kate's creepiest stories.
