Mark was born in Lorain, Ohio, but his visits to Gettysburg as a child fueled his passion for history, and ghost stories. Mark began collecting ghost stories of Gettysburg while working for the National Park Service as a Ranger/Historian. He published his first collection of ghost stories in 1991 and the rest is history! His passion for, and curiosity about, the paranormal have continued to be a focus in his writings.
