If you were to make an autobiographical film about your life, would it be entertaining or dreadfully boring? Would it be full of lessons to learn or a hedonistic journey into pleasure and pain? Are you living life? Are you doing interesting things? Are you sharing them with the world? These questions, inspired by Robert McKee and James Clear, got me thinking about the life I’m living, what I’m creating, and the image I’m presenting to the world.

Quotes Referenced in this Episode:

From Story by Robert McKee:

“For while it’s true that the unexamined life is not worth living, it’s also the case that the unlived life isn’t worth examining” (p. 84).

From 3 ideas, 2 quotes, 1 question (August 22, 2019) by James Clear:

“The most effective networking strategy I’ve found has nothing to do with conferences, cocktail hours, cold emails, or any of the common ideas you hear.

1) Do interesting things.

2) Share them publicly.

Repeat those two strategies and you’ll become a magnet. Like-minded people will come to you.”
