In this homily, The Rev. Dr. James E. Taylor, Rector
of St. George Episcopal Church, discusses the Gospel for the day which tells us a parable in which people refuse to attend the wedding banquet to which they have been invited by the king. To refuse is not only disrespectful and rude but also an act of sedition. Fr. Taylor explains that the parable is about being an active part of the Kingdom of God.  He asks us to ponder what’s more important than being in the company of God?
