AEW bounced back with a strong episode of Dynamite in its go-home effort ahead of Beach Break, while NXT bounced around as it continues to build toward its next TakeOver. Host Adam Silverstein dives into the latest from both shows, starting with NXT's strange decision to have two contenders for each of its three main titles held by Finn Balor, Io Shirai and Johnny Gargano [3:45]. Plus, updates from the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classics and questions about the direction of Isiah "Swerve" Scott and Santos Escobar. "The Silver King" then moves to AEW [21:00], which put on the two best matches of the night with a six-man Bullet Club main event (featuring a surprise appearance by Jon Moxley) and Jungle Boy vs. Dax Harwood. The Cody Rhodes and Sting storylines were slightly improved albeit still convoluted, but Britt Baker finally got a chance to look strong ahead of a big bout. Plus, a preview of Beach Break next week.
