Getting Weepy with The Song of Achilles

This week on Getting Literate, Katie and Julia take on a book chosen by Instagram: The Song of Achilles. The gals dive into the myth of Achilles, the Trojan war, and just who is doing who when it comes to Achilles and Patroclus. Julia crafts some wonderful prose honouring Madeline Miller's portrayal of grief, and Katie breaks down sobbing multiple times while recording. PLUS: we still hate Odysseus, inheritance rules, and Princess Di. As always, there's definitely spoilers, so proceed with caution.
