This week on Getting Literate, your fave book club tackles the sad-boy text of the 1900's -- The Catcher in The Rye. Katie and Julia get real sad, real drunk, and delve into Holden's world, covering things like suicide (HUGE trigger warning here), the romanticism of Christmas in New York, and whether or not ducks actually migrate. Katie has to hold back tears multiple times, and Julia is honestly just here to have a good time with a good book. Spoiler alert: the drinks are strong. PLUS: Bojack Horseman (duh), Italians we hate but also love, and French accents. As always, there's definitely spoilers, so proceed with caution.

This week's book was The Catcher in The Rye, by J.D. Salinger. More info at https://salinger.org/
