Our special guest will be retired 30 year FDNY veteran Lt. Mike Finer. He got appointed to the NYPD in 1973 and was assigned to the 46PCT in the Bronx 1974, but was laid off in 75. He was hired in 1979 by the FDNY and after Proby School was assigned to Eng 14. He transferred to Engine 43 in 1981 and then across the floor to 59 Truck in 1982. He was promoted to LT. in 1988 and assigned to Engine 60 in 1990. He transferred to 44 Truck and spent 20+ years in one of the busiest trucks on the job.
