This episode is about Sharp Objects, a mini-series from HBOmax that swept away my mind in 2018. Based off the book by Gillian Flynn, the same author as Gone Girl. It is about a reporter who confronts the psychological demons from her past when she returns to her hometown to cover a violent murder. This series is grim, but at the same time absolutely brilliant. It will leave you staring at the tv for hours in shock. Just wait!! Jean Marc Vallée directs, same director as Big Little Lies, and it's stellar! Come in with an open mind and leave with complete shock and awe.
