Ep 6: Lien Chen

Lien Chen is an LA-based Taiwanese photographer with roots in marketing and branding for clients like HBO and the Grammy-nominated Trey Songz. Lien shares how she started photography, and having worked in corporate for years, Lien also talks about what her transition is like from being a business person to a creative photographer. Lien, with her childhood and adolescence spent in both the US and Taiwan, also delves into the pros and cons of having a bi-cultural background and provides insight into the differences between the American communication style and the Taiwanese style. Lien and Oliver, both sex-positive, candidly share never-told-before stories about sex and dating, and examine how people from different cultures can perceive sex differently. As a co-founder of the Taiwanese American Film Festival, Lien proudly talks about the origin of the festival and how it helps celebrate Taiwanese-American cinema.
