Luke Sellars is a Certified Coach Practitioner in Ontological Coaching. He is also a Certified Teacher approved by Drunvalo Melchizedek and presents the School of Remembering.

I met Luke about three or four years ago in a health club that he was working at. A high-integrity individual, he spans a nine-year professional hockey career and played in the National, American and European Hockey Leagues. He helps people unpack some of their issues from their past and takes great privilege in being a part of people`s lives.

I think you will enjoy this lively and resource-packed discussion. We start the conversation off by Luke sharing about his personal experiences, recovery of his true self; and the transformation of his life and work. Luke has demonstrated a profound ability to assist others in overcoming mental health and addiction issues through the value of ‘walking the walk,’ daily.

You’ll Learn:• [02:50] – Luke begins our conversation by describing what he went through with depression, anxiety issues, drugs and ADS in his mid-twenties.• [05:05] – This foundation led him to examine himself on who he really was. He realized that he didn`t know anything about life; at that time his life revolved around playing hockey, drinking beer and chasing women.• [05:30] – Fortunately, he was able to move through that and found peace and grace that he so much needed in his life.• [06:20] – He says that suffering is part of coming to consciousness and he is grateful for his past experiences. He credits a book that really helped him in this journey called “The alcoholism and addiction cure”. He continues to share with us on his profound revelation of life, the universe, body, soul, mind, emotions, identities, consciousness; true self, spiritual nourishment, tranquility, choices and how to deal with the consequences.• [37:41] – Luke advices that we must have the capability to let go of some things. Anxiety cripples us; we must learn to let go of issues that disturb us. We must start by having compassion for ourselves. We need to forgive ourselves. You want to see a miracle? ‘Well, look in the mirror!’• [01:14:24] – He says that we don`t need to overcomplicate things. We just need to slow down, stop and just observe.• [01:19:20] – He challenges us to examine ourselves. We ought to ask ourselves, ‘who is getting anxious?’ Well it`s me!. For all that is happening within me, I determine the outcome! If I don`t, then someone else will determine the outcome for me. Life is happening within me. Phew! That`s quite profound!• [1:25:20] – He continues to say that all of the stuff that we have does not give us freedom. We are not free from the constraints and the confines of the mind and suffering. We need to do everything from our heart. It leads us into the secret space of our hearts!• [1:29:30] – Luke believes that our diet and the way we eat is an extension of our consciousness and not the other way round. He says, ‘Eat what you feel you should eat… but do things in your life so that your relationship with food is not one that is a vice.’• [1:40:37] – He sums our discussion with his view that “with the intensity of consistency, we plant the seed of inspiration which flourishes like a beautiful flower!”
