March is Women's History Month, and I wanted to take a moment to briefly shine a spotlight on a few inspiring women in real estate (I say "briefly" because there's an entire podcast -- not just one or two episodes -- just waiting to be made on this topic). Join me as I highlight some of the interesting facts about women in real estate, from both a historical and modern perspective, as well as welcome some inspiring guests.

In this episode I had the awesome opportunity to sit down with Dorcas T. Helfant-Browning, the first female President of the National Association of REALTORS®, when she was visiting our February Inaugural Conference for the Georgia REALTORS®, here to install our 100th President, Faron W. King. We talked about the challenges she faced becoming and serving as NAR's first female President, how the roles of REALTOR® and REALTOR® Leader have changed over her career, and why being involved is as important as ever.
