Dr. Chris Mattmann is the Division Manager for the Artificial Intelligence, Analytics and Innovation Development Organization in the Information Technology and Solutions Directorate (ITSD) at NASA JPL. Dr. Mattmann is also JPL's first Principal Scientist in the area of Data Science. We discuss analytics vs manalytics in sports and how computers are running the NFL, MLB, and NBA. Dr. Mattman also explains artificial intelligence to us and how its impacting sports and why the tech companies have so much power.
