Sorry this episode is a little late, Wrestlefriends! Derek and Zack had to travel to go see a Solange concert, and Zack was too busy crying tears of joy to edit the episode in a timely Fashion (Peaks). This week, we recap a mostly unexciting (minus innovative office furniture weaponry and Cena's next-level verbal savagery) week of Raw and SmackDown, then get into some of wrestling's most SHOCKING moments. That ends up leading us down a pretty sobering but important discussion of brain injuries in wrestling and how we handle some of the darker aspects of being a wrestling fan, including how to handle when someone you're a fan of ends up doing something disappointing or downright horrible (warning now that we talk about Chris Benoit more than we ever hope to in an episode, but it was fitting for the discussion). We finish out the episode with the conclusion of the first round of the Wrestleboys Classic Tournament, starting by going back to decide on the Kenny Omega vs. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin match that ended in a 2-2 tie. then go through our final four matches, including Esai making the most impassioned argument of the tournament so far, and a lengthy discussion of the all-time greatness by both Wrestleboys in another matchup. The matches this week are: Bret "The Hitman" Hart vs. Sandman Kevin Owens vs. Johnny Gargano David Arquette vs. Chuck Taylor Kurt Angle vs. Eddie Guerrero Finally, Derek ends the episode by yelling. :(
