Next Episode: Caring Well

We have spent the summer looking at our priorities and rhythms in life and thinking about how the Gospel shapes the things we value. As we close this series today, we will think about all the other things that are important in life: hobbies, recreation, entertainment, neighborhood, friendships, and more.

In Ecclesiastes, Solomon reminds us that the gifts God has given are good—very good—and they are made for our enjoyment. But there is a time and place for these things. Living for the gift rather than in the joy of the Giver is a path that will end in hopelessness. God has placed eternity in our hearts, and when Christ is core, we can enjoy all His gifts.
