Farrah Nousheen, a UNM academic advisor for the College of Arts & Science, Interdisciplinary Studies department speaks with Generation Justice. Farrah is a first-generation student who learned to navigate through community college, to the University of Washington, to then earning her Masters in American Studies at UNM.
We share an insightful production on the institution of University, how advisors can better help students in need, and what Universities can do to create spaces for LGBTQIA, first-generation, students-of-color to acquire the skills they need.
