In July, DHS prepared to detain hundreds of immigrant children and families at the military base, Fort Sill in Lawton, Oklahoma. At the same, hundreds of organizers, activists, and protestors from around the country gathered to hold peaceful resistance at Fort Sill in an effort to Close the Camps.
