This week on Generation Justice, we look at Community events and organizing that is happening right here in Albuquerque from two generations of women community organizers!
We hear about the 8th Annual Family Pride Celebration from Sonja Larsen and Sara Tafoya, two youth organizers with Young Women United. Then, Angie Gonzales-Carver and Diana Montoya of Las Mujeres share with us about the social justice legacy of Dolores Huerta and the initiative to create "Avenida Dolores Huerta" in Albuquerque.
As always, you can catch us live every Sunday at 7 pm on 89.9 KUNM FM or stream us on KUNM.org!
