Our country is scarred by the systematic murders of black women and men at the hands of law enforcement. Our community is in pain.
This Sunday, we speak with Dr. Finnie Coleman to understand the context of systemic racism in the U.S. and the importance of the Movement for Black Lives. We also hosted a roundtable discussion with members of UNM’s Black Student Alliance—Nicole Baty, Anthony Williams and Jakia Fuller—about being a young black activist on campus. And, we’ll celebrate the hope, love, and light that young black artists are bringing to the world right here in Albuquerque.
