Dyson has written several books including a novel ‘What Happens Now’ published in 2006, nominated for the Goss first novel award and enthusiastically reviewed by Ross after a bottle of wine in episode 5. He also wrote Bright Darkness: Lost Art of the Supernatural Horror Film, a non-fiction guide to horror films, and three collections of short stories entitled Never Trust a Rabbit published in 2000 – short-listed for the Macmillan Silver Pen award – The Cranes That Build The Cranes which won the 2010 Edge Hill award as well as The Haunted Book, which Wikipedia seemed not to know about so we don’t have any info on any awards.
