Geektown Radio 348: 'Umbrella Academy', ‘HALO’, ‘Strange New Worlds’, ‘Big Boys' Reviews, TV News & UK Air Dates!

The Geektown Radio podcast returns for our last show before we take a little Summer break, and I'm joined by our Film Reviewer Gray the co-host chair to chat through and review the last seven days on UK TV, film, and gaming, alongside the usual TV news and UK TV air dates.

As Gray returns to the show, he brings with him his top five film news stories from May and June, keeping you up-to-date with everything going on in the world of cinema. He also brings us reviews of both 'Jurassic World: Dominion' and 'Lightyear'. On the tv side, he discusses Channel 4 comedy 'Big Boys', 'The Time Travelers Wife' on Sky, and the final season of 'Love, Victor'. We also discuss the newly-launched Paramount+ streaming service. Speaking of which, I review the new 'HALO' series and 'Star Trek: Strange New Worlds', along with 'The Umbrella Academy' Season 3.

Over in the TV news, we chat through the usual renewals, cancellations and pick-ups including 'Snowpiercer', 'The Lincoln Lawyer' and 'CSI: Vegas'. We also chat about knowing nothin' (well... a few things...) about the new 'Game of Thrones' series featuring the return of Jon Snow, a new Apple drama starring Peter Capaldi & Cush Jumbo, and casting for the 'Teen Wolf' adjacent series 'Wolf Pack'.
