Geektown Radio 328: ‘The Responder’, ‘Doom Patrol’ Reviews, Plus TV News & UK Air Dates!

The Geektown Radio podcast returns for another weekly show, and I have with me our film correspondent Gray, who joins me to chat through the last week on UK TV and gaming, along with the usual news and UK TV air dates!

We begin with a new feature, as Gray rounds up the month of January in (the admittedly not all that imaginatively titled) "Gray’s Monthly Film News Roundup", where he runs through the top five film news stories of last month. We talk Spider-man, the Golden Globes, A Quiet Place and more!

After that, we review the last week in tv, film and gaming. Gray gives us his thoughts on 'Trigger Point', and chats through new Ant & Dec game show 'Limitless Win'. Meanwhile, I discuss 'Doom Patrol' Season 3, the return of 'Billions' and 'Snowpiercer', and we both give our thoughts on BBC drama 'The Responder'.

Over in the TV news, we run through the renewals, along with some cancellations and pickups. We chat through the launch of BBC Three as it returns to linear tv, along with a number of its new commissions. We discuss a new comic-book zombie series ordered by Peacock. And we talk about Syfy actually ordering a new sci-fi show!
